The aim of the ATEX directive is to protect workers in potentially explosive atmospheres. To this end, the employer has to develop a measures-based explosion protection concept for avoiding explosive atmospheres, ignition sources or to control explosions, e.g. by designing pressure-resistant installations.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_tta_accordion c_icon=&#8221;chevron&#8221; active_section=&#8221;0&#8243; collapsible_all=&#8221;true&#8221;][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Explosion protection documents and concepts&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1573044242307-3b84cbd0-2ba4&#8243;][vc_column_text]Nach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gesetze-im-internet.de\/gefstoffv_2010\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a7 6 Absatz 9 der Gefahrstoffverordnung<\/a> bzw. nach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ris.bka.gv.at\/GeltendeFassung.wxe?Abfrage=Bundesnormen&amp;Gesetzesnummer=20003475\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0\u00a75 der \u00f6sterreichischen Verordnung explosionsf\u00e4hige Atmosph\u00e4ren (VEXAT)<\/a> muss f\u00fcr eine Anlage bzw. einen Anlagenbereich, in dem gef\u00e4hrliche explosionsf\u00e4hige Gemische entstehen k\u00f6nnen, ein Explosionsschutzdokument erstellt werden. Die wesentlichen Bestandteile dieses Dokumentes sind:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"arrow-gray\">\n<li class=\"first-child\">die Gef\u00e4hrdungsbeurteilung und<\/li>\n<li class=\"last-child\">das Explosionsschutzkonzept.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Wie k\u00f6nnen wir Sie beim Thema Explosionsschutzdokument unterst\u00fctzen?<\/h4>\n<p>Wir erarbeiten f\u00fcr Sie schon im Rahmen der Anlagenplanung und des Genehmigungsverfahrens technisch und wirtschaftlich optimierte Explosionsschutzkonzepte. Neben den neuen Ger\u00e4ten sind insbesondere die bereits vor Ende der \u00dcbergangsfrist am 30.06.2003 in Betrieb genommenen Ger\u00e4te durch den Arbeitgeber auf Ihre Eignung zu \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen.<\/p>\n<h4>Welche Leistungen k\u00f6nnen wir Ihnen anbieten?<\/h4>\n<p>Wir erbringen f\u00fcr Sie den Nachweis der explosionsschutztechnischen Eignung f\u00fcr Ger\u00e4te, die bereits im Einsatz sind. Dazu f\u00fchren wir eine Z\u00fcndgefahrenbewertung nach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iso.org\/standard\/56550.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DIN EN ISO 80079-36<\/a> durch und erstellen die notwendige technische Dokumentation. Hierzu geh\u00f6ren Pr\u00fcfungen vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme nach<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gesetze-im-internet.de\/betrsichv_2015\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> \u00a7 15 Betriebssicherheitsverordnung (BetrSichV)<\/a> (bzw. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ris.bka.gv.at\/GeltendeFassung.wxe?Abfrage=Bundesnormen&amp;Gesetzesnummer=20003475\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a77(1) VEXAT<\/a>) sowie wiederkehrenden Pr\u00fcfungen nach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gesetze-im-internet.de\/betrsichv_2015\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a7 16 BetrSichV<\/a> (bzw. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ris.bka.gv.at\/GeltendeFassung.wxe?Abfrage=Bundesnormen&amp;Gesetzesnummer=20003475\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a77(2) VEXAT<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Weiterhin sind nach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gesetze-im-internet.de\/betrsichv_2015\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a7 3 Absatz 6 BetrSichV<\/a> die Pr\u00fcffristen f\u00fcr elektrische und nicht-elektrische Ger\u00e4te festzulegen. Dies ist z.B. bei extrem entz\u00fcndbaren Fl\u00fcssigkeiten (H224) bei Mengen \u2264 10\u00a0kg der Fall. Bei \u2264 200\u00a0kg sind noch erweiterte Anforderungen an das Gefahrstofflager ausreichend. Diese BetrSichV gilt seit 2015. Bei Anlagen, die vor dem 1. Juni 2012 in Betrieb genommen worden sind, galt bis 01. Juni 2018 eine \u00dcbergangsfrist, bis zu der diese Anlagen wiederkehrend gepr\u00fcft sein mussten.<\/p>\n<p>Im Falle von gef\u00e4hrlichen explosionsf\u00e4higen Gemischen sind in der GBU Pr\u00fcfintervalle festzulegen, die Bindung an die Pr\u00fcffristen der BetrSichV entf\u00e4llt, wobei diese als Referenzwert i.d.R. sinnvoll sind.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Does the explosion protection document replace the GBU according to BetrSichV?&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;gefaehrdungsbeurteilung6db4-e8cf&#8221;][vc_column_text]No, the explosion protection document is the risk assessment (GBU) according to \u00a76(9) GefStoffV and only considers hazards due to explosions. The GBU according to \u00a73 BetrSichV considers all hazards that can occur during use with work equipment and therefore includes other hazards.
